Chris Soloman

Specialist in Addiction • Relapse prevention • Anxiety • OCD • Panic attacks • Trauma • Abuse • Survivors of cults and abuse from religious organisations

Hello, my name is Chris and I'm a BACP registered counsellor working in Bristol, Somerset as well as online and by telephone.
I realise that it can be difficult to approach a counsellor and will do my best to provide a comfortable and safe place to explore whatever is troubling you. You will be treated with compassion and sensitivity and without judgement. I passionately believe that counselling can be of great benefit in helping you through whatever life has thrown in your path.
I initially trained as a musician and later as a chef, with a career in Spain and England, before qualifying as an integrative counsellor at Dartington Hall in Devon. I use CBT, Gestalt and person centred counselling techniques among others, with the belief that the style of therapy needs to be tailored to each individual cilent.
I offer short term solution focused counselling for specific problems and long term pyschotherapy for persistent and complex issues and for clients interested in personal development
I have a particular interest in addiction therapy whether the problem is alcohol, illegal and prescription drugs, tobacco or behavioural addictions such as gambling, the internet, sex and pornography.
I also work with anxiety disorders, depression ,trauma and abuse-especially with survivors of abuse by religious organisations and cults.
I am here to help and am happy to answer any enquiries you have
