Biography

I have worked in a variety of settings including the N.H.S and other local charities. I have lots of experience within the field of psychotherapy. I currently work in private practice from my premise in Lewes. I am a part time lecturer on a Foundation degree course in Person Centred Counselling at East Sussex College. I also supervise other counsellors in practice. I have over 10 years of experience and have worked in many different settings with clients with a wide range of issues. For example, people in crisis: those with symptoms of trauma; others struggling with managing their own symptoms of anxiety and depression; those with complex relational needs - to name but a few. I also work with couples. I have worked within the N.H.S. for people diagnosed with depression and anxiety (I.A.P.T. Service). I have worked for an organisation providing support for Mums and Dads experiencing peri-natal depression; charities providing support around sexual abuse and substance misuse, amongst other organisations. I work with adults and couples both short and long term with a variety of different mental health issues
