I am a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP), I am also a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN) registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council since 2007. I have worked in a wide variety of both inpatient and community settings as well as in forensic mental health with clients who present with complex problems such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders and eating disorders.

Approach to treatment

I believe in a collaborative approach to treatment working with cients on what they identify as being the issues relevent to them. I am a compassionate practitioner who believes that it is important to build a therapeutic relationship. I can draw upon a number of evidence based models to facilitate treatment.

I currently work part time in the NHS in a psychotherapy Department. I work with clients with complex histories who primarily suffer with depression, Anxiety disorders or trauma. I also work part time delivering online therapy in private practice.
