Hello and welcome to my profile :)

Are you currently feeling down, anxious or stressed? Have you reached a point where you're feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns and finding it difficult to move forwards? Do you feel that you need to make changes in your life, but don't know where to start?

I am a Counselling Psychologist with many years of experience working for the NHS and private sector with a range of difficulties, including depression or low mood, low self-esteem, stress, worry, panic attacks, health anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias, traumatic experiences and difficulties stemming back to childhood.

I will provide you a confidential, safe space in which we can collaboratively explore and understand your difficulties. Whatever your goal or desired focus, we can work together to take steps to achieving this. I have a compassionate, non-judgemental style and my approach is flexible to tailor the sessions according to your individual needs.

I am trained to draw on one form of therapy or integrate different approaches depending on what best suits you, such as person-centred counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, narrative exposure therapy (NET) and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT).

If you feel that I may be the right therapist for you, you are most welcome to send me a message and we can arrange an initial appointment to discuss your needs.

Getting real and being honest with someone in a trustworthy setting can lead to profound healing. What were our demons can become our gifts. Depression can turn to joy and self-hatred into self-love. I know this to be true because I have seen these things happen in my life and others. I can’t promise you these gifts but they will often materialise if we work for them
