Biography

Nutrition and lifestyle habits have a big impact on your physical and mental health which means that you can positively influence your health now and in the future with your diet and lifestyle choices. If you would like to understand how, then you have come to the right place.

Combining a holistic approach with current nutritional science I provide personalised dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

My aim is to help you maximise your health potential by:

• Helping you to understand the role your diet is playing in your health
• Identifying the root cause of your health problems
• Working with you to design a personalised plan of manageable changes based on a diet of whole, real foods
• Motivating and supporting you to make changes that will help you to feel healthier and happier.

Approach to treatment

I combine a holistic approach with current nutritional science and follow the Functional Medicine approach to healthcare, which recognises that each of us is unique. I aim to restore health and create lasting changes by identifying and addressing the underlying cause of ill health. Taking time to explore the complex network of interactions in your physiology, life history and current diet and lifestyle habits helps to establish the root cause of your health problems. I may recommend biochemical testing, which can help to identify contributory factors to ill health and short term supplementation, which can aid recovery. I design personalised diet and lifestyle programmes based on the specific needs of the individual. I understand how difficult it can be to break old habits and develop new ones and provide support and motivation with regular contact.
