Biography

I am a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor working exclusively with adults aged 18 and over. I offer a safe, empathic and non judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My aim is to provide a supportive environment where you feel genuinely heard and understood, especially during times when life feels overwhelming or uncertain.
I have experience working with clients affected by cancer, as well as those supporting loved ones through illness. This includes helping individuals navigate the emotional impact of diagnosis, treatment, caring responsibilities and the many changes that can follow. I also work with bereavement and loss, offering a compassionate space to process grief in its many forms. In addition, I support clients who have experienced trauma, including survivors of sexual abuse and sexual violence, helping them rebuild safety, trust and a sense of self. I also work with anxiety, stress and emotional distress, supporting clients to understand what lies beneath their feelings and develop healthier ways of coping. Alongside my core counselling work, I have three years’ experience supporting women in perinatal mental health, including those navigating pregnancy, birth and the early stages of parenthood.

My practice is grounded in a person centred approach, valuing you as the expert in your own life. Alongside this, I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities — including CBT, compassion focused therapy, humanistic principles and psychodynamic understanding. This integrative way of working allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, personality and goals, ensuring that our sessions reflect what feels most helpful for you.
Together, we can explore what feels difficult right now, make sense of your experiences and work towards meaningful, sustainable change. Whether you are seeking clarity, healing or simply a space to breathe, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Start your journey toward better mental wellness now.
