Biography
“
I'm a fully qualified Therapist with over 10 years experience in Private Practice. I’m a Member of the BACP and I abide by their code of ethics.
I had a varied career before becoming a Counsellor, working in financial services in The City, other office based jobs, factory and warehouse work as well as experiencing redundancy. I believe this broad range of experience helps me to relate to people from every walk of life and understand the pressures we often find ourselves under in the modern world.
I have been through counselling myself, so I know what it's like to take the first steps into therapy as well as the empowerment, new insights and confidence it can provide. I became a Counsellor because I’m passionate about helping others.

How I Work
I take an integrative approach, tailoring therapy to your individual needs. This means sessions may focus on:
- Understanding thoughts, feelings and patterns
- Exploring past experiences and relationships
- Developing coping strategies for anxiety, low mood or stress
- Improving self-esteem, confidence and self-compassion
I believe that feeling safe, understood, and respected is central to effective counselling. You don’t need a clear goal before starting - we will work together to discover what matters most to you.
