Specialist in I specialise in psychodynamic and somatic therapy with a trauma-informed approach, working with adults experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties, attachment wounds, developmental and relational trauma, chronic stress, autoimmune conditions, chronic illness, and persistent pain. My work focuses on the connection between emotional wellbeing, relational patterns, and the nervous system, integrating psychodynamic insight with body-based approaches to support regulation, resilience, and lasting therapeutic change. I have a particular interest in attachment dynamics, inner parts work, nervous system regulation, and the impact of chronic stress on both emotional and physical health. I am also a financial therapist and support clients with financial anxiety, money-related stress, financial trauma, identity and self-worth issues, relationship dynamics around money, and major life transitions involving work, income, or financial change.

Biography

I am an MBACP Registered counsellor and psychodynamic therapist with almost two decades of experience supporting adults through anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, chronic stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Since beginning my practice in 2007, I have worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and have developed a warm, thoughtful, and deeply relational approach to therapy.

My work is grounded in psychodynamic counselling and is both trauma-informed and somatically focused. Over the past two years I have specialised in integrating psychodynamic therapy with body-based approaches, helping clients understand how past experiences, attachment patterns, and nervous system dysregulation can shape their emotional and physical wellbeing. I have a particular interest in relationships, attachment, inner parts work, anxiety, autoimmune conditions, chronic illness, persistent pain, and the impact of chronic stress on the body.

I tend to work with millennials and young professionals who are navigating burnout, career pressures, relationship challenges, identity questions, and the feeling of carrying too much for too long. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck in recurring patterns they cannot fully explain.

In addition to psychotherapy, I am a financial therapist and integrate financial wellbeing into my work where appropriate, supporting clients with financial anxiety, money-related stress, financial trauma, and the emotional and relational aspects of money.

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. My aim is to help clients develop deeper self-awareness, greater emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of safety within themselves and in their relationships, creating meaningful and lasting change.

Approach to treatment

My approach to treatment is integrative, psychodynamic, somatic, and trauma-informed. I believe that many emotional and physical difficulties are rooted in patterns developed through early relationships, attachment experiences, and chronic stress. Therapy offers a space to understand these patterns with compassion while also working directly with the body and nervous system to support meaningful and lasting change.

I combine psychodynamic exploration with somatic techniques, nervous system regulation, and inner parts work to help clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of safety within themselves and in relationships. I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels manageable for each client, recognising that healing is not only about insight but also about embodied experience.

I have a particular interest in working with anxiety, relationship difficulties, attachment wounds, trauma, chronic stress, autoimmune conditions, chronic illness, and persistent pain. I also integrate financial therapy where appropriate, helping clients explore the emotional, relational, and identity-based aspects of money, financial anxiety, and major life transitions.

Above all, I aim to create a warm, non-judgemental, and reflective therapeutic relationship in which clients feel deeply heard, understood, and supported as they move towards greater wellbeing and authenticity.

Therapy Types

I offer integrative psychotherapy and counselling with a strong psychodynamic, somatic, and trauma-informed foundation. My work combines psychodynamic therapy, somatic therapy, attachment-based work, nervous system regulation, and inner parts work to help clients understand both the emotional and physiological patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I tend to work relationally and collaboratively, creating a warm, non-judgemental space where clients can explore anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, chronic stress, burnout, autoimmune conditions, chronic illness, persistent pain, and major life transitions. I believe that lasting change comes from both insight and embodied experience, so I integrate psychodynamic exploration with body-based awareness and practical nervous system regulation strategies. I also incorporate financial therapy where appropriate, supporting clients with financial anxiety, money-related stress, financial trauma, and the emotional and relational aspects of money. My approach is thoughtful, compassionate, and tailored to each individual, whether they are seeking deeper long-term psychotherapy or focused support around a specific challenge.

Demographics of Focus

I primarily work with adults (18+) and tend to attract millennials and young professionals who are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, attachment patterns, burnout, chronic stress, career transitions, financial pressures, and questions of identity and purpose. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who appear successful externally but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in recurring relational or emotional patterns.

I work with clients from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and I have a particular interest in supporting those living with autoimmune conditions, chronic illness, and persistent pain. My practice is especially suited to people seeking deeper therapeutic work that integrates psychodynamic understanding, trauma-informed care, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation. I also support clients experiencing financial anxiety, money-related stress, and major life transitions through an integrated financial therapy approach.
