Biography

Hello. I am an experienced therapist and I work really well with clients who suffer from anxiety, low moods and negative thinking. I also specialise in supporting you if you are struggling with relationships and intimacy is missing from your life. I am registered with BACP and I practice Psychodynamic Counselling, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Psychosexual Counselling. I will work collaboratively with you to achieve your therapeutic goals in a safe and non-judgemental environment.
Together we will work through whatever issue you bring and think together how you can have new experiences and develop a more positive outlook, and be compassionate to yourself. I enjoy being a therapist and I am passionate about what I do, whether you want 'just the one session for now' or deal with a specific issue or want open-ended therapy I am ready to work with you.

Approach to treatment

I take a collaborative approach, utilising Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Tools, fused with Psychodynamic thinking to help clients understand how, and why they feel the way they do. Linking past experience to current difficulties and helping to develop new ways to approach problems and develop a range of tools to help clients meet their goals.
